Bihar Special State Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023
A total of 7279 posts will be recruited through BSSTET this year. Out of these, 5534 posts are for classes 1 to 5 and 1745 posts are for classes 6 to 8.
Eligibility criteria:
To apply for BSSTET, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and DEd in the teaching of mentally retarded, visually impaired, hearing impaired or dyslexic children from a recognized university
- Minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject
- The age of the candidate should be between 21 and 35 years
Application process:
The process of online application for BSSTET will start from 2nd December 2023 and will continue till 22nd December 2023. Candidates have to apply online by visiting the official website of BSEB, bsebstet.com.
Selection process:
Selection in BSSTET will be done on the basis of written examination. The written examination will have two papers: Paper I will have questions related to child development and pedagogy and Paper II will have questions related to the special teaching methodology of the relevant subject.
